The American Flag was adopted on June 14, 1777. The Continental Congress resolved that the U.S. flag would consist of 13 alternating red and white stripes and 13 white stars on a blue field, representing a “new constellation”. Today is a great day to work on patriotic themed projects and Quilts of Valor!
These are days we get together and sew for fun. Open sew. Whatever you want to work on. They are a great way to get to know one another, share ideas, grab some advice… Usually on the Monday preceding our meetings, with some scattered Saturdays.
